We did it! Yesterday, my team and I completed the Longest Day Golf Challenge—72 holes in one (very long!) day for Walking With The Wounded.
We kicked things off bright and early, finishing our first round in just under 2 hours before teeing it up again at 7am and wrapping up round two by 10:30. After a quick shower and breakfast, we headed back out just before lunchtime for round three—which turned out to be the toughest, thanks to the heat. Plenty of water and a few spare gloves later, we finished that round at 3:45 and took a well-earned break from the sun.
Refreshed, we went back out at 5pm when it was a little cooler, finally sinking the last putt at 9:13pm to complete all 72 holes.
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated and supported us—it means the world and makes a real difference to this fantastic charity.
