Having supported and worked with WWTW for over a decade with a variety of events I felt it was time to do something a little different and raise some funds in the process. When James asked me if I'd like to be involved in his Longest Day challenge I was all in!

So on 27th June we will be riding mototrcycles over 380 miles across the UK delivering wreaths to a number of memorials that are geographically linked to key sites for the charity, from sunrise to sunset.

I am not only participating to challenge myself but also to raise funds for Walking With The Wounded and, ultimately, the veterans they support. WWTW deliver employment, mental health and support care coordination programmes in collaboration with the NHS to get those who served, and their families, whether mentally, socially or physically wounded, back on their feet and making a positive contribution once more.
