In my day job im the Head of Events & Partnerships for Walking With The Wounded, a wonderful charity that delivers employment, mental health support and social care coordination to wounded veterans in need. I'm very proud of the work we do to support those who've served and equally proud of the events we put on to fundraise for that work.
Outside of my day job, i love to travel, love to explore and love spending time on my motorbike. Now how to combine those passions...
My good friend Ross Worthington, the MD of our key partner RAW Adventures and i hit on a simple idea - to ride 380 miles across England on Armed Forces to salute our veterans and our Armed Forces family. We'll be meeting some of WWTW's operational colleagues in key locations along the way, laying a wreath in Tidworth, Milton Keynes, Manchester and Newcastle as our tribute to the fallen and those who remain.
The biking family is probably the closest thing ive felt camaraderie wise to the Armed Forces family and if you want to join us on our ride to honour our veterans you're always welcome. WWTW patches will be in abundance; we're always patched up but still standing...
