We're taking part in the Longest Day challenge for the 3rd time, firstly to challenge ourselves, but more importantly, to raise funds and awareness for a very worthy charity, which does very important work to support veterans.

We will be walking 80 km (roughly 50 miles) from Stirling Castle to Edinburgh Castle, taking in a few B&Q stores along the way. We chose this distance to honour the 80th anniversaries of VE Day and VJ Day, both of course, this year.

Walking With The Wounded ‘WWTW’ is a leading UK military charity which recognises that those who served, deserve.
They empower veterans by reigniting their sense of purpose, enabling them to make a positive contribution to their communities and lead independent lives.
Whether mentally, physically or socially wounded they support ex-service personnel and their families most in need. They offer personalised programmes in the areas of employment, mental health, and support care coordination to help veterans and their families who are struggling after military service.
